Doodled is a project I was part of as Game Programmer, during my 3rd year at AIV (Accademia Italiana dei Videogiochi) at the GGJ (Global Game Jam) event. The project had 7 members. Experience the wonder of Doodled, an enthralling, point-and-click adventure game that immerses players in a dream world of animated sketches. Take on the role of an enchanted pen and engage in turn-based battles with mischievous doodles, using the power of "Roots" to unleash your full potential. Explore a fantastical world, solve intricate puzzles, and embark on an unforgettable journey that ignites the imagination and defies all expectations. Get ready to enter a world where dreams become reality with Doodled.

This game was made for the 2023 7-day Global Game Jam

What did I do?

Enemy

I successfully designed a finite-state machine for any game opponent. It was a challenging task, but I skillfully blended the main character concepts into a streamlined, well-organized list of states. The primary states of Idle and Run were flawlessly integrated into the design.
